Dance Class Tuition, Performance, Competition and Other Fees

Clark Academy Dance Center offers more than just excellence in dance training. We offer students unique experiences and opportunities that extend beyond dance class. Matthew Clark is affiliated with various national and international dance organizations and competitions. Students have access to unique opportunities in the United States and around the world.

We want our students to take advantage of all of our dance classes. That’s why for the 2023-2024 dance season, we have reduced the price per class!

$50 Per Dance Class

An annual registration fee of $50 per student is required at enrollment. The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid in order to enroll in classes and participate at the studio. We do not charge registration fees for students taking a free trial class.

A costume deposit is required for every student of $80 per recreational class and $125 per competitive class. Costume deposits will be posted to your account on 10/25/23 and payments can be made through your CADC Portal. Partial payments are accepted, however, costumes must be paid in full by January 30, 2024. Any costume deposits not paid by that date will be drafted with tuition on February 2024. Late fees and shipping surcharges will be added.

Payments will be debited automatically by credit, debit, or checking account thru the CADC Portal. You can update your payment method by going to and clicking on “Manage My Account”. Payments may also be made in person at the front desk of the studio, however, keep an up-to-date payment method in your CADC Portal. We accept credit/debit cards and money orders in the studio.

Tuition is processed on the 5th of each month for that month’s tuition using the payment method on file in your CADC Portal account. Tuition amount will be posted to your account before payment is withdrawn every month on the 25th prior to processing payment. Tuition payments must be kept current for students to participate in classes, competitions, and showcases.

The annual showcase date will be announced soon. There is a mandatory showcase fee of $75 per student. Showcase fees will be posted to your account in February 2024 and are due by April 30, 2024. If not paid by the due date late fees will apply. Each student will receive two complimentary tickets per show.

CADC’s competitive dance program competes in local, national, and international competitions. Please inquire about the program, audition dates, and competitive contracts with studio personnel.

CADC runs various fundraisers throughout the year such as candy sales, chicken BBQ, and more, to help students raise money to cover fees and other extras associated with performing with CADC. Successful fundraisers happen when our entire CADC dance family gets involved and shares their efforts with family and friends and on social media.

The CADC produces a live annual Showcase production where all our students perform on stage in costume, and select students participate in competitions on the CADC Competition Team. We also offer photography packages. Students can participate in CADC Fundraisers to help cover the additional fees associated with productions outside of regular class activities.

Specialty classes and workshops are limited classes and workshops led by Director Matthew Clark or outside choreographers and dance instructors and are not included in regular tuition. Any workshops or specialty classes or events offered will detail pricing at signup.
